Our parent company, Solarey, Inc. is located in northern California where we have designed, developed, and produced all the technology used in the Ecolight®. It has taken us over 9 years to develop and refine the Ecolight® as we perfected the design and circuitry to take advantage of new supercapacitor and LED technologies.
Under development for almost a decade, the Ecolight® was finally introduced in 2009. Our previous company, Time Now Inc., earned a 100% positive eBay rating based on customer feedback while we owned the product - the Invisible Clock and still to this day boasts an outstanding 98.9% positive eBay customer feedback ranking since we sold this product to Time Now, Inc. about 3 years ago. In the years while we developed and sold the Invisible Clock, we consistently honored our warranty as well as return policy, and likewise we promise to stick to the same standards with the Ecolight®. The previous product we developed and brought to market (our company was named Time Now Corporation in those days), the Invisible Clock [www.invisibleclock.com] has sold about 60,000 units from 1999 to date.
The Ecolight®'s circuitry as well as the method and use of super capacitors and LEDs in portable lighting are covered by our two U.S. Uutility Ppatents (U.S. Patents 6,563,269 & 7,323,849). Our flashlight name, Ecolight® is a registered U.S. trademark.
We ship every Ecolight within 24 hours, and charge and check each unit before shipping. The AC charger is included at no extra charge; the car charger can be ordered separately. Since the Ecolight® will charge in sunlight, neither is necessary. But these chargers are extremely convenient methods of quickly charging this flashlight.
